The image was taken at Ocean Beach in San Francisco. I woke up early one morning hoping to get some long exposure morning shots at the beach. As my bus arrived at the end of the line the rain began falling heavily. The stop was nothing more than a small shelter which didn't do much to stop the rain with nothing else near or open. I thought I had made a huge mistake. Luckily the rain began to lighten and I was able to continue down the hill and this scene. This image and another of Seal Rock from the beach made facing the cold and rain worth it.
